Use case · memberships
For memberships and paid communities
Members rarely leave on purpose through a failed payment. They changed bank, their card expired, or their bank blocked a small recurring charge. They'd stay if someone told them.
Why tone matters here
Your members know you. A cold “PAYMENT FAILED, ACTION REQUIRED” feels like a bank letter. SaveMyMRR's friendly tone reads like a note from the person running the community, and the direct tone is there if you prefer it short.
Small amounts, many cards
Membership fees are small and billed often, which means more card expiries to catch over a year. The sequence handles each one on its own schedule; you only see the result.
What you set
- The sender name (your community's name).
- The reply-to address, so a member who answers reaches you.
- The tone.
Requirement: your memberships are billed as Stripe subscriptions (Stripe Billing). One-off payments and other processors aren't supported.
